Yes. Starting December 1st 2025. I provide appointment verification notes that confirm the date and time of your session, including excused absence or tardiness for work or school.

The fee for this documentation is $30.


A: Attendance notes only include the date and time you were seen.

They do not include:

  • Diagnoses
  • Treatment details
  • Limitations
  • Recommendations
  • Clinical opinions

This keeps your information private and ethically protected.


A: Yes. I can complete administrative letters and forms for outside agencies.

These requests carry a $30 administrative fee and include only factual information based on your treatment record.


A: No. Administrative documentation does not include opinions, recommendations, or clinical conclusions.

Only verifiable, factual information may be provided.


A: Yes. Court-related services are available and are billed at $500 per hour, with a 2-hour minimum.

This includes preparation time, communication with attorneys, record review, travel, waiting time, and court appearance.


A: A non-refundable 2-hour minimum ($1,000) must be paid at least 72 hours before any scheduled court appearance, hearing, deposition, or legal meeting.

If this payment is not received, the counselor will not appear, prepare, or participate.


A: Court fees include:

  • Review of treatment records
  • Preparation of statements or documentation
  • Communication with attorneys and legal parties
  • Time spent responding to subpoenas
  • Travel to/from court
  • Waiting time
  • Testimony
  • Required follow-up documentation


 A: The counselor follows the ACA Code of Ethics and provides only truthful, factual, treatment-based information.
The counselor cannot:

  • Advocate for either party
     
  • Offer opinions on custody or parenting fitness
     
  • Provide legal recommendations
     
  • Give statements outside the scope of treatment records


A: No. The counselor cannot provide legal opinions or make recommendations regarding court outcomes. 


 

A: No. Court-related services are not covered by insurance under any circumstances. They are strictly self-pay.


 A: All legal participation follows the American Counseling Association (ACA) Code of Ethics, including:

  • Protecting confidentiality
     
  • Avoiding dual roles
     
  • Maintaining objectivity
     
  • Providing only factual, clinically supported information
     
  • Staying within the counselor’s professional scope
     
  • Truthfulness and accuracy in testimony


A: No. The counselor cannot provide character statements or legal opinions about anyone.
Only treatment-related facts concerning the client may be disclosed. 


 A: Information is released only with your signed authorization or when required by a court order.
Your privacy remains our priority.


 A: Payment must be made at the time of request for administrative documents, and 72 hours in advance for court-related services. 


A: These services require substantial time outside of therapy, review of documentation, legal coordination, and adherence to strict ethical and legal standards. 


 A: Your first session focuses on getting to know you, your goals, and what brought you in. We’ll discuss background information, explore what you want to work on, and create a clear plan for moving forward. You’ll never be pushed to share more than you’re comfortable with. 


 A: Standard sessions are 50 minutes. Some specialty sessions may run longer when clinically appropriate. 


 A: Most clients begin with weekly sessions. As progress becomes consistent, some shift to bi-weekly or monthly maintenance.

A: Yes. Faith integration is available upon request and always at the client’s comfort level. You are in control of how much you want incorporated.


 A: Yes. HeartBonds Counseling provides individual counseling for children, teens, and adults, as well as couples counseling and family support. 


 

A: Treatment is tailored to each client and may include:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
     
  • Trauma-informed care
     
  • Play Therapy & Sandtray
     
  • Mindfulness-based interventions
     
  • Faith-based integration
     
  • Social skills training
     
  • Strengths-based and solution-focused work


 

A: Your privacy is extremely important. Everything shared in counseling remains confidential unless:

  • You provide written consent
     
  • There is risk of harm to yourself or others
     
  • Abuse or neglect is disclosed
     
  • A court order legally requires information
     

You will always be informed when exceptions apply.


 A: Yes. Secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions are available for individuals who prefer or require remote counseling. 


 A: You can schedule directly through the online portal, by calling/texting the office, or by submitting an intake request on the website. We make scheduling simple and flexible. 


 

A: We serve:

 A: Sometimes — but only when it benefits you. Homework may include worksheets, reflection prompts, communication practice, or coping skills to try between sessions. It helps keep progress moving. 


 A: That’s completely normal. Many clients feel anxious before their first session. We take things at your pace, and you are always in control. 


 

A: Sessions may involve:

The goal is to help kids learn emotional regulation, self-awareness, and healthier behavior in an engaging and developmentally appropriate way.


 A: Yes—parent involvement is essential. Sessions usually include a brief parent check-in and periodic family meetings to review progress. 


 A: Yes, but with respect to your teen’s privacy. You'll receive general updates, skill goals, and behavioral themes without breaking confidentiality. With the teen's permission. 


 A: Yes. We work with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and academic concerns for children and adolescents. 


 A: Communication, conflict resolution, trust rebuilding, emotional connection, boundaries, family stress, and premarital counseling. 


 A: No. Couples counseling is a neutral and balanced space. Both partners get equal voice, respect, and support. 


 A: Not at all. Many couples come simply to strengthen communication, grow closer, or prepare for marriage. 


 A: Most major forms including cards, HSA/FSA, and electronic payments. 


 

A: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee.
