Men's counseling

You don't have to have it figured out to start.

Counseling for men navigating anxiety, pressure, relationships, and the weight of expectations. Direct, practical, and judgment-free.

What brings men in

Most men wait too long.

Men are often taught to push through, figure it out, and not need help. That works until it doesn't — until the anxiety is constant, the relationship is strained, or the pressure has built past the point of managing alone.

Coming to counseling isn't a sign that something is wrong with you. It's a decision to take your own life seriously enough to get real support for it.

I work with men who are high-functioning and struggling at the same time. Men who look fine from the outside and feel stuck on the inside. Men who want practical tools, not just someone to listen.

What men's counseling can hold

Real issues. Practical tools.

Anxiety & pressure

The constant hum of stress, the mind that won't power down, the sense that you're always behind or falling short.

Relationship conflict

The same arguments on repeat, the emotional distance that builds, the difficulty saying what you actually mean.

Anger & reactivity

Responses that feel bigger than the situation — and the frustration of knowing it but not being able to stop it.

Identity & purpose

Questions about who you are outside of your role, your job, or what others expect of you.

Faith & meaning

Wrestling with belief, doubt, or the gap between the values you hold and the life you're living.

Life transitions

Career changes, relationship shifts, becoming a father, loss — seasons that demand more than routine coping.

My approach

Direct, practical, and built for real life.

My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) — which means we focus on the thoughts, patterns, and behaviors that are actually driving what you're experiencing. Not just talking about feelings, but understanding what's underneath them and building practical ways to respond differently.

Sessions are structured and direct. I'm not going to sit in silence waiting for you to figure out what to say. We'll work together, and you'll leave with something concrete.

For men who want to bring faith into the conversation, that's welcome. For those who don't, we don't need to.

Common questions

Before you reach out.

Do you specialize in counseling for men?

Yes. A significant part of my practice is working with men dealing with anxiety, pressure, relationship challenges, and the difficulty of asking for help. I work in a way that is direct, practical, and free of judgment.

What if I've never done therapy before?

That's fine — most of the men I work with haven't. The first conversation is just that: a conversation. No pressure, no commitment, no expectation that you have it figured out.

What does a typical session look like?

Sessions are 50 minutes. We talk about what's actually going on, identify the patterns underneath it, and build practical ways to respond differently. It's collaborative — you set the pace.

Do you offer faith-integrated counseling for men?

Yes, if that's meaningful to you. I work with men across a range of beliefs and backgrounds. Faith can be part of the conversation if it's part of your life — and it doesn't have to be if it isn't.
