My journey to becoming a mental health counselor was not a straight path. It was shaped by my own struggles, personal growth, and faith. During difficult seasons, I learned how important it is to have someone walk alongside you with honesty and compassion.
Those experiences showed me not only what I needed, but also what I felt called to offer others. That calling led me to counseling, where I could combine my love for people, my belief in resilience, and my faith in God's power to bring healing and hope.
Today I work as a counselor, educator, speaker, and podcast host — helping individuals, families, professionals, and communities engage in meaningful conversations about mental health, relationships, faith, and personal growth.

How I work
I believe counseling should feel like a conversation, not a lecture. My role is not to fix people, but to walk alongside them — helping them untangle what feels overwhelming, notice patterns that keep them stuck, and discover new ways forward.
My work draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and play-based and sand tray interventions when clinically appropriate. For those who want it, I can thoughtfully integrate Christian faith into the counseling process — guided entirely by the client's beliefs and goals.
At the core, my approach is simple: be honest, be compassionate, and be present. I want every client to feel both supported and challenged — to leave sessions not only feeling heard, but equipped with tools to handle the week ahead.
